Full Service Burial and/or Cremation Choice
Professional & Staff Services: This fee includes: Arrangement consultation, coordination of details for visitation, administration, funeral service and final disposition. Professional supervision by funeral director and staff before, during and after visitation to assist family and visitors with information, directions, donations and other requests. Personal attention of Funeral Director and staff to direct funeral service at Families First, or other facilities as requested.
Transfer of Deceased: Vehicle, staff and related equipment from place of death to Families First within 30 km in Essex County.
Documentation: This fee is for completing any necessary documents or forms. Securing and filing permits, certificates, statements, contracts and authorizations.
Embalming: This procedure is for disinfecting, restoration and temporary preservation. It requires removing blood and body fluid from the body and replacing it with a chemical preservative. It includes grooming and hairdresser as required, embalming equipment, fluids, compounds, and safety supplies as needed. No additional fees for communicable diseases. Embalming is not required by the law. For some arrangements selected, such as funeral with viewing or the holding of the deceased for a period of time in excess of 48 hours from the time of death and final disposition, we require embalming.
Other Preparation: Minimal preparation of the deceased is required at all times and can include cosmetics dressing and casketing and use of prep room equipment.
Facilities (Visitation & Service): The use of the funeral home visitation room for one day or any part thereof, and for service on second day at Families First, or set-up at another location as requested. Includes lounge, office and furnishing for visitation area, office supplies, heating/cooling and maintenance of building.
Facilities (Prepare/Shelter deceased): Use of preparation room for embalming and or shelter of the deceased.
Funeral Equipment: Audio, musical, technical, visual, stands, biers etc., And miscellaneous supplies.
Automotive: Funeral Coach for transfer to cemetery, church and/or crematorium.
Basic Car: For general use such as obtaining and registering certificates, floral delivery, clergy and lead car.
Families First Traditional Service One Day,

Limited Funeral Service
Professional & Staff Services: This fee includes: Arrangement consultation, coordination of details for visitation, administration, funeral service and final disposition. Professional supervision by funeral director and staff before, during and after visitation to assist family and visitors with information, directions, donations and other requests. Personal attention of Funeral Director and staff to direct funeral service at Families First, or other facilities as requested.
Documentation: This fee is for completing any necessary documents or forms. Securing and filing permits, certificates, statements, contracts and authorizations.
Facilities (Visitation & Service): The use of the funeral home visitation room for up to two hours prior to the funeral service at Families First. The same fee would apply to set up and conduct funeral service in a facility other than Families First.
Facilities (Prepare/Shelter deceased): Use of preparation room for embalming and or shelter of the deceased.

Professional & Staff Services: This fee includes: Arrangement consultation, coordination of details for funeral service and final disposition. Personal services of funeral director and assistants for directing services at Families First.
Transfer: of the deceased to funeral home (within 30km), staff & related equipment.
Documentation: This fee is for completing all legal forms. Filing and securing burial permit and funeral directors certificates of death and applications for cremation as required.
Other Preparation: Minimal preparation of the deceased.
Facilities (Visitation & Service): Use of the funeral home visitation chapel, offices and furnishings for memorial tribute, (services prior to 2pm)

Identification is required for all services supplied by Families First.
Although it is not a requirement of law, we believe identification of the person prior to cremation or burial is essential. We will provide our staff & facilities for the executor, spouse or children free of charge for this purpose (this is not a period of visitation).
Please note: if there is no embalming, identification is expected to take place within 24 hours, be less than 15 minutes and is limited to the above family members.
All of the service fee's above do not include merchandise such as caskets, vaults or urns. As well disbursments such as newspaper, clergy, municipal registration and taxes must be added. Our staff would be pleased to quote all of these fee to you free of charge or obligation.
